Why mending matters

Fast fashion exacts an immense cost on people and our planet. After studying design almost a decade ago and stepping away from the disposable clothing cycle, I discovered the empowerment of sewing and repairing. Choosing to repair, alter, and cherish the clothing you already own fosters a deeper connection to what you wear while keeping textiles out of the waste stream.
